Da Vu Nere Bologna
BASKET MARKET – Is the Edmond Sumner path heating up again for Virtus Bologna? The former Zalgiris Kaunas player was on the Vu Nere’s wishlist this summer to replace Iffe Lundberg.
Rumors continue to circulate around Virtus Bologna, which is increasingly considering changes to the roster to strengthen the team available to coach Luca Banchi. According to Il Corriere di Bologna, the name of Edmond Sumner has resurfaced, the talented point guard who caught the attention of the Vu Nere during the last summer transfer window.
Virtus Bologna’s Situation
Virtus Bologna continues to monitor the market for possible reinforcements to the roster. However, in order to proceed with any new signings, the club must offload a player. Rayjon Tucker and Andrejs Grazulis are the main candidates to leave, as the Vu Nere need to balance their budget and create salary space for a new arrival.
Edmond Sumner, who had already been on Virtus’ radar alongside other players like Chris Jones, Carsen Edwards, and Tyler Dorsey to replace Iffe Lundberg, would be a high-level addition to the guard position. His ability to create plays, score, and manage the game’s pace makes him a valuable asset for any top-tier team.
