Coach Luca Banchi: “We come away with the victory and the awareness that we have the desire to play a basketball that showcases our characteristics. We need to get the best out of everyone. We defended correctly, lowering their shooting percentages and contesting their closeouts. We rebounded well, even against Tyrique Jones. Offensively, we made mistakes at the end; if we had lost, there would have been blame, but when you expend so much effort, staying clear-headed isn’t easy. We stuck to the game plan and played with personality and determination. Not always with precision and clarity, but those will follow in upcoming games.”

To EuroLeague tv: “No, it’s not easier now that we’ve won a game. The EuroLeague is like that: all games are as difficult as this one.
