Is Virtus Bologna Interested in George Conditt IV?

Among the centers being evaluated by Virtus Bologna, one name stands out: George Conditt IV, the Puerto Rican big man who last played for Gran Canaria.

After parting ways with Ante Zizic, Virtus Bologna is in the market for a new center. In the club’s shortlist, it’s not just Trevion Williams being considered, but also George Conditt IV. According to Davide Trebbi of Pianeta Basket, the “Vu Nere” (Black Vs) have reportedly shown interest in the Chicago-born, Puerto Rican-naturalized forward/center.

George Conditt IV is currently a free agent following his stint with Dreamland Gran Canaria, where he came close to winning the EuroCup (losing the final to Hapoel Tel Aviv). In contrast, Trevion Williams is under contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv until June 30, 2026.

With the option of Jonathan Motley appearing increasingly unlikely, Virtus Bologna is now actively exploring the big men market. So far, the club has been linked to Sertac Sanli, Juwan Morgan, Trevion Williams, and George Conditt IV (see more details in our transfer market tracker).
