Trevion Williams returns to Virtus Bologna’s radar: the Black V are exploring the possibility of signing the Maccabi Tel Aviv center.

Trevion Williams Back on Virtus Bologna’s Radar

Virtus Bologna is once again showing interest in Trevion Williams. Last season, the Chicago-born center came close to wearing the Black V jersey. However, the 2000-born player chose to leave ratiopharm Ulm and sign a two-year deal with ALBA Berlin instead.

His experience with the German capital’s team, however, ended prematurely in late December 2024. Shortly afterward, Trevion Williams joined Maccabi Tel Aviv, signing a contract valid through June 30, 2026.

With the Jonathan Motley option becoming increasingly unlikely, Virtus Bologna has reportedly made inquiries to the Israeli club about Trevion Williams, according to Davide Trebbi of Pianeta Basket. Of course, Williams isn’t the only name on the club’s shortlist — George Conditt IV is also among the centers being considered by Virtus.
