Segafredo Virtus Bologna announced the signing of Frank Gaines.
The american shooting guard played last season with Acqua San Bernardo Cantù in Serie A (Italy). He averaged 20.3 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 2.6 apg and 1.1 apg in 33 games.
It was the third season in Italy for Gaines, who previously suited up for VL Pesaro and Pasta Reggia Caserta. He has also played for Maine and Oklahoma City in the D-League, Gigantes de Guayana in Venezuela, Wilki Morskie Szczecin of Poland, Rasta Vechta in Germany and Parma Perm in Russia. He will make his EuroCup debut this season with Virtus.
